The MANCELLE DE FONDERIE company was founded in 1935 by the "Les Segments Amédée Bollée" company in Le Mans to produce rough cast foundry piston rings.

Transferred to the Arnage facility (near Le Mans, France) in 1962, it then specialised in the design and production of heat treatment furnace jig systems to handle hot components.

In about 1975, it broadened its range with piston inserts produced by static means and then from centrifuged tubes.

During the 80s, it perfected its production of grate bars and protective shells used in household waste incineration plants.

In 1983, the Mancelle joined the AFE Group. It developed its markets and gained the loyalty of its customers thanks to its design office, its range of products, and its service policy.

Around 1985, it began to produce shotblasting machine wearing parts.

Since 1992, the Mancelle has had a machining workshop for graphite and carbon-carbon composite components processed in heat treatment vacuum furnaces.

Specialised in high temperature alloys that are abrasion and corrosion resistant, La Mancelle de Fonderie has obtained ISO 9001 version 2000 Certification.
